P.K. Srivastava, Commandant

A Gender Sensitization workshop was organized in this battalion by your learned trainer on 3rd and 4th September 2013. The workshop was organized in a very professional manner by the trainers. The workshop has proved highly beneficial to all the participants. Participants had little awareness on the subject but this workshop has given them handful knowledge on the matter. I would like to express my special thanks to Mr. Soumya Bhaumik, Dr. Rajini R. Menon, Ms. Anubuti Vatsayan, Ms. Ishita Y. Aggarwal and Ms. Anisha Dawar for conducting such an excellent workshop. This would not have been possible without cooperation of your eminent institute. I wish all the trainer and staff of CSR great success and look forward to avail your services and cooperation in future as well.

The National Institute of Disaster Management has been conducting training programmes on “Gender and Disaster Management” regularly. The programme starts with gender sensitization of the participants before proceeding towards Disaster Management. The Institute has relied upon the gender trainers of Centre of Social Research for carrying out the gender sensitization and they have always done a good job out of it. They carry out the task in a subtle and effective manner which facilitates the further learning of the participants.

The PRTS was tasked with organizing a state level seminar for police officer on the topic "Gender Sensitization" by the BPR&D New Delhi. Being a technological training institute it was decided by us to host this seminar with the title "e-Gender Sensitization", to give this seminar and issue a technological tilt.
